Description
The air handling units VUT 300 V mini EC Comfo are the fully-featured ventilation units that ensure air filtration, fresh air supply and stale air extract. The thermal heat energy contained in extract air is transferred to supply air through the plate cross-flow heat exchanger. The units are suitable for integration into various ventilation and air conditioning networks. The units are featured with compact size, low energy demand and low noise due to EC motor technology. Compatible with round Ø 125 mm air ducts.
Modifications
VUT 300 V mini EC Comfo series are energy saving Air Handling Units (AHU) equipped with intake and exhaust centrifugal fans powered by EC motors, cross-flow heat recovery elements and air filters. Vertical duct connections.
Unit design (right modification)
Casing
Made of polymer coated steel, internally filled with 20 mm mineral wool heat- and sound-insulating layer.
Filters
Supply and extract air flows are purified through two panel filters with filtering class G4.
Fans
High-efficient electronically-commutated motors with external motor and impellers with backward curved blades. Such motors are the most state-of-the-art energy-saving solution. EC motors are featured with high performance and total speed controllable range. High efficiency reaching 90% is the premium advantage of the electronically-commutated motors.
Heat exchanger
Plate cross-flow heat exchanger made of aluminium. The heat exchanger may be replaced with a summer block when heat recovery is not required. The drain pan under the heat exchanger block ensures condensate removal.
Control and automation
The units are equipped with integrated automation and a multifunctional control panel with LED indication A5.
The delivery set includes a signaling cable for connection with the control panel.
The integrated freeze protection system is designed to prevent the heat exchanger freezing at low temperatures. In case of freezing danger indication by the temperature sensor the supply fan is turned off to let warm extract air flow pass by the heat exchanger and warm it up. After freezing danger is no longer actual, the supply fan is turned on and the unit reverts to the standard operation mode.
Control panel functions:
- Turning the unit on/off.
- Ventilation mode selection: minimum, medium, maximum.
- Minimum mode (MIN) setup in the range of 13 preset speeds. The medium speed (NORMAL) is automatically set 80 m3/h above the minimum speed, but it does not exceed the maximum (MAX) speed.
- Filter replacement indication.
Mounting
The unit is designed for mounting on the floor or fixing to the wall with a bracket. Access for the unit servicing and filter cleaning on the front swivel panel side.
